Position Overview
As an Investment Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities within the life sciences sector. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about healthcare innovation and eager to develop expertise in venture capital and private equity investing.

The ideal candidate will also have at least +1 year of finance-related work experience and be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with a lean-team and eventual exposure to the entire investment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal Sourcing & Research: Identify and research emerging companies, technologies, and market trends in life sciences.
  • Conduct secondary market, competitive, and therapeutic area research.
  • Due Diligence: Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, including financial, operational, and scientific diligence.
  • Support preparation of investment memoranda and presentations for internal review.
  • Financial Analysis: Build and maintain financial models to assess investment opportunities and portfolio performance.
  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate risk and return profiles.
  • Portfolio Support: Collaborate with senior team members to monitor portfolio company performance and identify value-creation opportunities.
  • Internal Initiatives: Participate in internal projects related to fund operations, reporting, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, life sciences, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or related fields (internships count).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in life sciences and healthcare innovation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
