Situation:

A leading bioanalytical lab was experiencing internal challenges with their lab and thus, Kineticos’ was retained to conduct a comprehensive assessment of their lab operations.

Process:

After identifying key gaps in the current lab ops processes, Kineticos leveraged their knowledge of best practice within laboratories to reengineer each process and sub-process. The process overhaul comprised of designing new operational protocols along with recommendations on instrumentation, staffing, and quality levels by service offering. Kineticos also developed a metrics scorecard intended to measure success of the enhanced operations.

Outcome:

After gaining buy in throughout the organization, Kineticos successfully rolled out the new processes. To ensure new processes were adhered to, Kineticos supported the implementation process, which included 10 weeks of cross-functional team meetings, critical SOP updates, training programs, and metrics monitoring.
