Shailesh Maingi, Kineticos CEO and President
Shailesh Maingi is an experienced Life Sciences expert with over 20 years experience in sales, marketing, strategy and management. Prior to becoming CEO at Kineticos Life Sciences, Shailesh held the position of Vice President, Business Development for the Pharmaceutical Development group at Cardinal Health where he had responsibility for leading the business development team and creating and executing Go-To-Market strategies. Prior to joining Cardinal Health, he was Vice President of Marketing at Sigma-Aldrich and responsible for developing marketing strategy, tactical plans as well as global product launches for the Supelco brand. Shailesh earned his BS in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel and his MBA from Golden Gate University. Shailesh and his family live in the Research Triangle Park area in North Carolina.

Kelly Mehrer, PhD, Principal/Consultant
Dr. Kelly Mehrer serves Global Drug Development Experts as a Business Development and Marketing Consultant. He holds a Ph.D. in Health Sciences Research from Barrington University, Florida and a Ph.D. in Business Marketing from California Coast University, California and a BA in Biology from California State University, Fullerton. During a career in business development, sales and marketing, Kelly has grown organizations focused  in Biotech, Medical Devices, Clinical Trial Management , Pharmaceuticals and Pharmaceutical Development.  Most recently, Kelly was the VP of Strategic Accounts at PRA where he built an infrastructure to help meet the needs of the Pharmaceutical Industry and PRA to achieve critical milestones on or ahead of schedule. Kelly's role was particularly focused on the top 25 global pharmaceutical companies. Prior to PRA, Kelly was EVP of Business Development, Marketing and Contracts at a mid-sized CRO and helped grow the organization into a global player to include operations in Europe, China, and S. America. Just prior to this role, Kelly held the role of Senior Director, Global Business Development, for Cardinal Health’s Pharmaceutical Therapeutics Services Division responsible for global growth in Europe, the US and Asia. Kelly has held senior positions in sales and marketing at Johnson and Johnson, Eli Lilly & Co., and Pfizer, Inc. including Head of Endocrine, Fertility and Obesity Global Marketing, Marketing Consultant for pre-launch products and National Sales Director. Kelly lives in North Carolina with his family.
Tim McGrath, Kineticos Advisory Board Member
Tim McGrath is the CEO of the Oligo Factory, a start-up medium scale oligo synthesis manufacturer. He also consults for a number of life science tool companies. Prior to his current position, Tim was the CEO of Xeotron, where he managed the sale to Invitrogen in 2004. Before that, Tim held positions as the interim president of Lark Technologies and the President of Genosys Biotechnologies which he grew from $2M to over $40M in sales and managed the sale to Sigma-Aldrich in 1998. Tim has also held management positions at Millipore, Zymark Corp, and Beckman-Coulter. Tim has a BS in Zoology and an MS in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University.
Tom Zietlow, Kineticos Advisory Board Member
Tom’s comprehensive work history includes 20 years of experience in R&D, product commercialization, brand marketing and general management in a variety of industries, notably pharmaceutical development, manufacturing services and medical diagnostics (point-of-care and lab). While based in the US, Tom has negotiated and managed joint international ventures in Europe and Asia, including projects and marketing programs in highly regulated industries for Kodak, Corpex Technologies, Diagnology, Cardinal Health and TriPath/BD. Tom's formal education includes a PhD in chemistry from California Institute of Technology and an MBA in brand management from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at UNC-Chapel Hill.
